Bullying is when an individual, or individuals depending upon the situation, participates in ongoing physical or verbal mistreatment, done with the intent to harm, where there is an imbalance of power between bully and victim.
Is there really an issue with bullying in today's time?
As of right now, bullying in the preteen and teenage community is a growing epidemic. Bullying has always been an issue in the world, but in more recent cases, bullying has been shown to affect the futures of young people in more of a profound way than ever.
Is there only one type of bullying?
No, bullying occurs in many different forms.
Some of the different kinds of bullying includes:
-Cyber Bullying,
-Physical Bullying
-Verbal Bullying, and
-Reactive Bullying.
What can be done about bullying?
Bullying can be both difficult and severe, but thankfully bullying is also preventable. A number of prevention techniques can be taken into effect in order to stop bullying from occurring. With the help and intervention of schools, parents, and society as a whole, the amount of bullying taking place could decrease tremendously, or even diminish completely.
